GeForce 4 MX 440 Problem: Screen flickering

Hi,

I have a GeForce 4 MX 440 video card with a 1.3MHz AMD Athlon processor and 512MB SDRAM.

My screen keeps turning on and off whenever I do anything, or even when it's idle. Sometimes my icons get blacked out.

I have installed the latest nVidia drivers, reinstalled windows, and even swapped monitors, and the problem is not fixed.

EDIT: Also, sometimes my mouse cursor disappears whenever I'm doing something, and it's hard to click on something when I don't know where my mouse cursor is. If anyone knows how to fix this, please help me!

Another symptom: Now, whenever I try to start up, discolored vertical lines/pixels show up everywhere, and it crashes after a few seconds. :bash: Has my video card simply finished its life span? I would appreciate it if anyone can help me.
