Have NV30 preview samples been sent out to reviewers?

Since the NV30 will supposedly be announced at Comdex next week, I was assuming that preview samples would have been sent out to a few select sites by this time. But, I haven't seen any sites hinting that they have received one. Anybody have any confirmation on this?

Well, with previous releases, I've seen pictures of preview sample kits on here or references to receiving something in the mail whose contents would be revealed shortly.

Here's a suggestion, look for a hole. By that I mean, look at who is missing. Are you used to MikeC posting 10 news headlines a day? Has he suddenly dropped off the face the earth? Good bet he's deep testing something super-secret.

Sometimes, finding what isn't there is easier than finding what is there. That's part of how the Russian's knew about the Manhattan Project.

That would have been nice, but I haven't been around lately for other reasons.

Xbit labs reported that samples were not due out till first/sec week of December. But that was a week ago and of course we dont know if its true or not...but other signs say its probably closer to being correct.

Hmm... So, if the NV30 is anounced at Comdex, it may be weeks before we see some real benchmarks.
