Fall Refresh of nv40 and r420

When are they coming out, as in actually available? Are they coming out before this year is ended or are they coming out next year? K-Hardware.de said the R480 was out Dec 1, but how long untill i can buy them at Compusa (most important part, it must be bought there).


The reason i want to know is becuase my compusa T.A.P warraunty expires end of 2004, and if they are not out by then i will just get a 6800U now.

Paper lauch is December first, don't expect them out till at least 1 month after the paper launch.

I would not expect to see the refresh parts in stores until spring of next year. I know that sounds kinda late but look how long we had to wait to buy the 6800 and X800 cards.

I wouldn't expect to get your hands on any of the refresh cards until next march or april would be my guess. If they are available for purchase before that (not just paper launch) I will be very surprised...

The X800XT and 6800U are rare already and the production is slow

So expect Refresh sollutions at stores from Spring 2005 (from end of February and later especially if you live in Europe, Maybe even April according the country you live)
