I saved my retail bios in the file ORIGINAL.ROM.
When I try to open it in OmniExtremeEditFX I get an error: "Cant open file", and after I press OK I get: "Device unsupported: 0000".

What's wrong?
I did all the steps according to the guide posted in this forum.

Now the STRANGEST part:
I downloaded an Original BFG GT bios backup from mvktech, and OmniExtremeEditFX opened it with no problems.
THEN I compared the 2 files (mine and the one from mvktech) using "fc" (filecompare), and fc says they are IDENTICAL!!!!

Thats going on??? :retard:

It has to be the filename causing the problem, doesn't it. I mean logically if you have 2 identical files and one will open OK, and the other won't, then that is the only *possible* explanation, isn't it.
