If you're using a refresh fix program like reforce you have to set it so that you play the game at 85Hz or lower. The game will not run at refresh rates above 85Hz. I set my monitor to run the game at 1600X1200(85Hz). It runs great now.
This game runs slowly even on my system. My CPU is older, but the 6800 GT is a great card.
