Hi, I have an Albatron KX18D PRO2 , 512MB PC3200 (standard) , an Athlon XP 1700+ TB "B" and a Volcano 7+. Right now my system is running at 190x11 (2100Mhz) and I never could made it work at 200FSB, I can get the multiplier a "bit" higher, 11.5, but canīt make it work even at 200x10, my screen keeps black and my system refuses to boot. So my first question is, it`s a temp problem or a memory one? or anything else? all the time I read post from people who are chilling because they can`t pass 230FSB I get crazy.
Right know I`m thinking into adquire an AthlonXP 2500 Mobile with a Barton core, do you think that with my system will I be able to put it at 200x12 or 200x12.5, I say 200 because I donīt know if the memory will oc.

Memory is not problem (probably), 'cause you can use cas3 and it will work.
But, you didn't write anything about core voltage. Did you try to get 400 FSB by increasing voltage (vcore-CPU) in BIOS ?
Also, you can try to 'force' RAM on 400 MHz, although CPU works on 166 FSB.
This is good experiment for memory and that's all. Just experiment.

About Mobile 2500+. I don't think that is wise. Your 1700+ works on 2100 MHz. If you get 200x12 (2400 MHz), that is small step. Keep money and wait for s939 CPU&MBO.

Right now my vcore is at 1.725. I increased it a bit more but couldnīt get the FSB at 200Mhz but if I need to put it a lot higher (1,85 - 1,9) to get a 200FSB I suppose that my temps are going to go a lot higher for just a "few" more Mhz. What do you think about this?

Well, 1.75 is too much (for my taste), but I know few people who using 1.9V and it works. How long, we shall see :).

As I told. You can try experiment with memory. If your sistem start to boot then you'll get answer on your question.

Also. All processors don't work on 200 FSB or they need better cooling.
You can try water cooling if you have some extra money.
