View Full Version : When installing new drivers(Quick question)

Do i have to re overclock my card, or will it keep the same clock speeds as before i switch over to new drivers?? IF not is there any way to "save" those clock speeds? thanks.
EDIT : yup i meant installing :) , thanks for the help
If you're just "downloading" new drivers then nothing would have changed anyway. However, I think you're asking about actually "installing" new drivers. If so, then yes, you will have to re-enter your overclocked settings. Results can vary between driver releases anyway. Also, you'll want to completely uninstall your current drivers (with Windows Add/Remove Programs and perhaps use something like DriverCleaner), reboot, cancel when Windows tries to redetect your hardware (video card) and then install the "new" drivers you've downloaded.
Hope that helps.
