ya that doesnt make sense how a 6600GT can beat out a 6800GT thats for sure.

Im sure i could do better than 40 somethin fps at 1024x768

The site who did the review must have been a biased site to ati, because clearly they didnt know that the 6600GT isen't meant to be faster than the 6800GT..either that or they got the figures wrong.

The other site hardcop has done a better result, those numbers at this site should be questioned because thats some mighty bull**** there.

Uh, the 6800 and other cards were in an AGP rig, with a P4 2.4.

And the PCIe cards were in a 3.4

...nuff said.

Anandtech's is actually much better. For some reason I don't like the charts at Hardocp and I'm not so confident about their time demos. Anandtech seems to have made a much better selection of game scenarios and the whole article feels very thorough.

aandtech was a better review, that othersite dosent know how to benchmark.

Yap, ATI seems to be the winner however only the X800XT > 6800U, whereas 6800GT > X800Pro.

6800GT~X800 pro

Remember the 6800GT used by hardocp has a mildly higher core clock speed than a normal 6800GT. Most sites agree the x800 pro and 6800GT are comparable with if anything based on techlouge and firingsquad the x800 pro having a marginal lead when using the 4.12 betas as most sites have benchmarked. Anandtech doesnt dispute this at 1280 x 1024 - 4X AA the x800 pro was overall negligably faster.
