Triple buffering - Half Life 2?

Does anyone know how to enable triple buffering in Half Life 2 my frames don't cut to 42 just becase i can't reach 85.

More so applicable to a 6800GT.

As far as I know there is no triple buffering support for HL2... Which really sucks for us LCD users who like to use V-sync..... :lame:

The strange thing is, Vampire bloodlines has tp enabled by default!
