I'm looking for two sticks of 512MB DDRI than can run at or past 533MHz. I'm looking for the cheapest so cas latency is fine at 3-4-4-8.

Corsair? OCz? From where? How fast is newegg when you're in Eastern Canada?

If you know of memory running at 400 or 433 that's easily oc'ed to 533 that's fine too. Ideally I'd even want 566MHz... but I think that's gonna cost an arm and a leg.

How's this: http://www.ncix.com/products/index.php?sku=10992&vpn=OCZ5331024PFDC-K&manufacture=OCZ Technology

http://www.ncix.com/products/index.php?sku=10535&vpn=GL1G4200DC&manufacture=GeIL%20USA

two of these from newegg would add to 255CAN http://www.newegg.com/app/viewproductdesc.asp?description=20-145-416&DEPA=0 Do you think overclocked they'd run fast?

Ok, lemme put it this way, a cas 2 DDR400 corsair stick will go how high at cas 3?

So in my mind it's should I overclock corsair memory or buy OCZ already at 533?

Try and find some Geil. U can get it in 533 or 550 at those timings. :)

I'm running the 500 and love it! :D
Do not cheap out on your memory.
I learned the hard way. It's better to buy good the
first time. That way you do not end up buying memory 2 or 3 times
trying to get some to run like you want.
It will save u money in the long run.

From what I gather Geil costs typically more than OCZ for no discernable reason...

OCZ pc4000 Gold revision 2

It's been OCed stable up to DDR 594, or 297Mhz FSB in a 1:1 ratio.

I have two 512 sticks of it, and have gotten the memory to DDR 540. It'll go higher, but I need better cooling for my cpu.
