Intel didn't want to miss the SLI bandwagon, I bet that's the core of all this. I think Intel couldn't handle being out of the SLI boat. The "clout loss" would hurt their pride too much.

I bet it was a gravy deal for nVidia though.

This is awesome news. I can't wait to see how the new boards stack up against high end Intel boards from Asus and other makers.

It is exciting, I am actually kinda glad about it.

Great news for nVidia, their product is better, they ought to reap the rewards from it. nForce will do great in the Intel market.
