Trackball or regular?

Who plays games on a trackball? Better yet, how do you play games on a trackball? I tried playing UT with one once, but it was almost impossible.

I play on a trackball and I find it much easier than a normal mouse...but I don't have much desk space so I kinda need to.

Well basily, i have found that it IS better to play with a lower mouse speed and a Huge ass mouseing surface eg Ratpad, after i turned my sensitivy down in wolfenstein i have been getting headshots left and right. The trackball requires a fair amount of high sensitivy to make it useable so you can do a fast 180 etc.

i use the microsoft opt trackball and will never use a reg mouse again..i find it easier and faster for me than a reg mouse plus its nice to never run out of mouse pad.....i play all sorts of games and have tried both types and for me its trackball......

I used to have one a while ago and found it quite nice fro windows apps and strategy games. No way you can play a FPS well with a trackball though.
