Nice looking video card: http://www.msi.com.tw/program/products/vga/vga/pro_vga_detail.php?UID=623

I have seen the asus 6800GT 256mb AGP running on the Ultra PCB with dual molex plugs and the blue cooler, probably the best AGP GT with all that power.

edit--> The asus was a real GT not a GE, which is why it was cool on the ultra pcb. Also I saw 2 brand new MSI 6800gt's AGP this week with the coper cooler with fan speed switch on them again. Looks like MSI started making them again.

Infact it's not a GT, iit's a GE aka 6800 12 pipeline and i have once runs very cool too, the heatpipe is barely warm. I have been looking into the MSI NV6800 SLI setup just wondering if it's worth 328 fo each card?

Umm no its not a 6800, it IS a 6800GT...........read the sepc of the card below the picture and it states 6800GT.

Also, ther 6800 non ultra is NOT SLI capable per Nvidia

Also, this is the actual product name:
MSI NX6800GT-T2D256E

He was talking about admiring the Asus as the best AGP card, and mentioned it was a blue two-molex 256M 6800 (12-pipe vanilla) GE=Gamer Edition instead of 6800 GT (16-pipe), which is true. Asus appears to offer only 128MB/1molex versions of the GT and 256MB/2molex versions of the 6800 and 6800 Ultra.

-The ASUS Card u'r talkin abt mus b 6800 GE and not 6800GT. Wel its good in comparison to other vanilla 6800's but damn expensive!

Sweet me wants ! :D
.. can i just add an SLi connector to my current MSI 6800GT & just buy other one & play SLi ?? :p j/k

btw whats the official word on the PSU recommendation for the SLi 6800GT & U ?? maybe its written on some of the new reviews but i didnt look at it .

EDIT : on THG's review i see 550W seemed to work fine for both GT/U SLi .

The return of the copper hsf and rpm adjusting slider (on the PCI-E GT).

I also wonder does the dual-dvi also return the DVI chip outside the gpu or do they still use the lower quality internal solution?

too bad the AGP GT dropped the copper cooler... boo.. Maybe MSI should design NV's reference cooler.

check out that pic of MSI 6800 Ultra, with Copper Ultra cooling!! Boo yahg!
it would be a killer cooler if it's double slot.

Hmm not sure but looks to me a 1 slot cooler . actaully it looks very much like my GT's . could they started to sell the GT cooler for Ultra versions & leave the fan controller to max ??
but again that wont leave much of a headroom for overclocking , would it ?
