What is it? And should I be interested in it if I am looking to buy a 3.06 Ghz P4?

isn't it a dual channel DDR platform for P4?

i think it might be a high end board compared to a mainstream one, though i'm not sure on that.

Granite Bay is Intel's latest chipset that provides support for not just dual channel DDR (pc2100 dual channel that is) but also AGP 3.0 and hyperthreading. There are boards out now that support AGP 3.0 and HT but not dual channel. Interestingly, SiS is coming out with a chipset (655?) that supports pc2700 dual channel. Won't do you a heck of a lot of good with a Pentium 4 though as it can only use up to 4.2 gig of bandwidth which dual channel pc2100 provides...
