6800nu has been discontinued, replaced by the 6600 series which I would think covers the PCI-Express. We may see a 6800 Ultra pci-e.

Scan, Overclokers.Co.Uk, and a few more sites are taking orders for PCI-E.
Expect the usual $ for conversion though

 not quite, 6800NU based on NV40 core has been discontinued, Nvidia quiet replaced it with cheaper NV41 6800NU, it AGP version but I dont know whether here will be PCI Express version, probably not.

All of the world's PCI GTs/Ultras have all been *stolen* by Anandfphanad, Hexoos, Tommy's HW, herdodps and Fharingsquabs....etc

I've been asking the same thing. All the review sites have them (or two of them) but they are next to impossible to find for sale, actually in stock, and for anything even close to the 'retail' price. The best price I've seen is $445USD at Monarchcomputer.com but they are not expecting any in stock until 12/29 now.

I am wondering if Nvidia is going to release a new 6800 core to 'update' the video processor and make it PCIe native. They better solve the problem fast because once everyone gets their Nforce4 motherboards they're going to want a good high end video card on it.

Yeah just that the 6800NU is the best SLI peformance ratio/price in it's class i would say. as the 6800GT is expensive but can be bottle necked at times.
