I'm using triplehead on a debian machine with xfree 4.2. My main card is a nvidia card, on a nforce board. But I have 2 other SiS cards, running 2 other monitors. I would like to accelerate these, but I assume this cannot be done since nvidia replaced the opengl libraries. Is there a workaround for this kind of thing ??
Thx in advance
To the best of my knowledge there isn't... BUT it COULD be done by removing the dependance of DRI on the glx module... and if you wanted to do that I can help you... although i don't have enough time right now to do it on my own...
But Just a question first... if you remove nvidia's drivers.. can you get dri working on your sis cards? I thought there was a problem with the sis driver (i could be wrong :) )

Seems pretty hard to do to me .. That would mean messing around with XFree code right ?? But if it is the only way it can be done, I'd appreciate that :)

Not sure, gonna try that out. Got some info here (http://www.winischhofer.net/linuxsis630.shtml)
