Ie Huge Problem!!!

Ok i wanna ask u something but i dont knoiw if i can explain it properly
Every time I visit couple of site on the net(This forum,Nvnews.net, Xbitlabs.com, and other sites my IE downloads **** from net)
Like last night i visited yandex.ru this forum 5 times, nv news.net and some other web sites and my Comp Dowloaded 59MBs of ****......
I have got an internet plan 10GB Limit so i dont wanna pay extra for OverDlowlaoding....Is there any way to stop my IE downlaoding so much ****?Any change in the setting..

Sounds like someone's got a case of spyware. Download and run Ad-Aware as well as Spybot Search and Destroy. And for the love of God, stop using Internet Explorer. Use Firefox or Opera instead.

these are probably Active X programs. When you visit a site that requires a pluggin or a Player such as flash or Shock wave, IE automaticaly downloads it and then a screen pops up asking you if you would like to install it. Active X is often used for evil since spyware can make it apear any where you browse the web, or even worse wher the installation of the Active X app results in a Trojan or Worm.

there is no avoiding the download of Active X, as well as pictures, flash animations, animated giffs, background etc... It all adds up.

Maybe it is time you get your self a different ISP? One that gives you unlimited downloads.

For the mean time scan comp for viruses with up to date antivirus (free legit antivirus programs can be found by searching Google or yahoo and are just as good or even better than retail ones.), and Anti Spyware app such as Spy bot. Then use Fire Fox as web browser, It's much faster than IE. :D
