Hello

i have a Leadtek 6800GT and its great, but...
the temp are high and i want to cool the card and the system.

Idle = 55c
Load = sort of 70c

the card is on stock.

i know its opertional temp. but i still want to cool it.

any suggestion for custom cool?
someone remove the plastic and change the 60mm cooler to bigger cooler?

Thats great, You don't really need to go lower for any reason... The max is like 120c, Heck Im Idle at 51c with my Nv5, on stock I was hitting 59c idle... you should be glad.

i still want to go further with the cooler.
this a stock temp. yours are overcloak temp.
its winter here now, and in the summer the temp will increase
because of the hot summer here(isreal).

still wait for suggesion or pifture from people who replace the cooler?

I would check to see if your stock cooler is making proper contact with the GPU and that any thermal compound is evenly applied. I had a Leadtek 6800 GT that would run at about your temps and wouldn't overclock past 400/1110. It wouldn't have been that big a deal to me, but also the text readout on my LCD monitor was terribly blurry.

I exchanged it for the same card (as the vendor didn't have any other GTs in stock). This one's idle and load temperatures are about five degrees lower and so far I've been running at 425/1150 with no issues. Auto detect actually gave me a speed of 448/1180, but I think that was a bit too optimistic. :)

And in any case, your temperatures are not high at all. Those are actually lower than average.
