So any ETA on when I can pick up one of theses? in a Socket 754 prefered if not ah wel will just buy a new CPU as well as my video card lol

Socket 754 is as good as dead, there likely won't be any PCI-E boards made with it.

As far as timeframe, I've heard next week mentioned several times as a date for them hitting retail.

Socket 754 is not dead. It will be used for AMD's Sempron line which should get PCIe support someday.
