View Full Version : GF6600 and VIVO
I'm planning to buy a GF6600 card and I want it to have VIVO functionality. Does anyone of you have such card and could share his experiences?
The information I find on the web is very misleading:
- I found no reviews that would include testing of VIVO
- descriptions in some internet shops indicate the presence or lack of VIVO for the same card models
This is all very confusing to me. Are there GF6600 cards with VIVO at all?

Yeah, like this one:
It's got VIVO/HDTV, and a pretty fair price.
This is a GT and is way too expensive. I'm looking for the cheap 6600...
What is even more confusing is the review here:
First of all it's not a review of "GV-NX66128DP" but of "GV-NX66128D". The "P" model has a passive cooling, this one has a fan as you can see in the pictures...
Second of all the author claims that the card has "ViVo support".
Is this really true?
Does it say so anywhere on the box/manual?
Does the video cable really have a "Video in"?
I'm asking because I saw a review of a Gigabyte card somewhere which was the same model with the same video cable and there was no word about Vivo - only Tv-Out was available...
I know for a fact that MSI have a VIVO card (http://www.msi.com.tw/program/products/vga/vga/pro_vga_detail.php?UID=622). Problem is, I haven't seen it in store anywhere yet. I really do wish these cards would make it to the market soon - I'm waiting for one of these as well as an nf4 mobo for my new computer.
AGP though, wasn't sure if you wanted PCIE
