I have a few questions about the capabilities of the Quadro4 NVS cards with Linux. I would like to run three LCS displays using digital interfaces in xinerama mode (1280x1024 per screen) and need to be able to display a video window (xvideo) at any position on any screen. The video window would most likely be 640x480.
I would appreciate any feedback on whether this is possible (and reasonable) with the current state of the Linux drivers. Would a Quadro4 400 be the way to go or would two Quadro4 200s (1 AGP and 1 PCI) be better? My understanding is that a GL window will only display on the first screen, is this the case for xvideo also?
Thanks in advance for any assistance.
Dennis
