Damn I voted for the wrong one..lol
5200-5300 X800Pro 520/560
Sounds kinda high. I get about the same with my XT @ 500/1000 w/ high quality mipmaps. Does memory bandwidth have that sort of impact in 3DM05?

I get 5565 with specs as in sig.
I set the mipmaps to quality, defragmented, restarted, closed everything but explorer and got 5500 (well, 5497). That is at 500/1000.
Guess I'm in the overclocked category then... (xmasgrin)
6821 with x800xt pe @ 600/590 http://service.futuremark.com/compare?3dm05=361960
Best I did with my Gainward 2400Ultra Golden Sample GLH /6800GT @ 400/1200 default) was 5810 (clocket @ 440/1180) was 5810 http://service.futuremark.com/compare?3dm05=295526 Did fine with the mem 1200 upto 420 Mhz core speed, increasing the core speed betond 420 I had to drop mem speed a bit to keep scores going up. Probably a power issue. I guess there is a reason Nvidia put 2 power connecktors on the Ultra's (rudolf)
I got 5811 with CATALYST 04.12 Beta.

Why? Anything above 3000 should be fine for at least the next year.
Hell mine is just under 4000 and I can play doom 3 at ultra quality, 1280x1024, 4xfsaa, and 4xani with a very good framerate and zero studdering. Yours would probably do the same at 1024x768 or so. The 6600GT is a very good card and some people underestimate it.

The video card is fine, but I would like a faster CPU.

Sorry I did not space out the poll a little more! I did not think of the very high scores and forgot the low ones too. I was thinking more of top of the line cards I guess!

There are alot of overclockers out there. Is it worth it?

I guess it depends largely on where you're clocking from and to whether it's worth it or not. Personally it's practically a lifestyle. I think it's worth it, but for a lot of people it's probably more for show/fun than actual practical use.
Converting video/audio files, it makes quite a significant difference whether my cpu is running @ 3.4 or @ 4.4 Ghz. Overclocking a videocard usually has little to no real life effect IMHO. I usually only overclock my videocard for benchmarks unless I can feel the difference in a game. I play @ 1600x1200 with as much FSAA and AF I can get while maintaining playable framerates. Even at this resolution I can't honestly say that I can feel the difference between overclocked and stock videocard speed, except on a few rare occasions.

my sapphire x800 xt pe card is a crap overclocker only doing 30 on the core and 30 on the memoer before the screen turns to garble :(

Well, for what it's worth, my Sapphire x800xt pe only overclocked to ~550/580 Mhz on the retail cooler. With water and peltier it does 600/590 Mhz completely stable and artifact free.
