After reading this my eyes started to bleed profusely. Please list your system specs for us, exactly what drivers you downloaded and how you attempted to update them. And after that, please click on the "Posting and You" link in my signature to watch the Flash animation contained therein. Pay special attention to the part about - having a question and posting information so others can help.

What drivers are you using? Is this happening in every game? What is the name of the game? But.....
Try this if you have not already.
1- Get another driver from what your using now. Don't go for the latest, try something like the 45.23 which are great for your card.
http://www.nvidia.com/object/winxp-2k_archive.html
2- Uninstall the Nvidia drivers from add/remove programs then use driver cleaner to get rid of what was left behind.
http://www.drivercleaner.net/
3- Reboot and dont let windows install your card drivers and instead manually install the drivers you downloaded.
Also update your games to the latest.

Does it happen in every game or just CS? If it just CS try installing the game again.

Do this........
Download these drivers.
http://www.nvidia.com/object/winxp_2k_66.93.html
Go to add/remove programs and uninstall the nivida drivers windows installed.
Restart and cancel when windows trys to install drivers for your card and install the drivers you just downloaded
That will fix your opengl. Do it then report back.
