I bought some AS5. Should I remove the stuff evga put on the heatsink making it bare and then apply AS5 to the NV40?

Well i use rubbing alchol with qtips or cotton sawbs depeding on the area.

But to apply artic silver is tricky and time consumeing (to do it properly) thats why i usually avoid, however their homepage has a good guide, it should be like putting it on a athlon xp if you plan to do it properly. However some people just put a small blob on the core then put the heatsink on.

I misread AS5 as ASS at first and this thread took on a whole new meaning.
Just wanted to share that, carry on.

LOL, no I used the same instruction in applying AS5 tonight on my friend's PC.
Took the heat away......AS5 is an awesome product indeed.
