I went from a 9800 pro to a 6800GT.. still the anti-aliasing quality of my 9800Pro was/is better compared to the 6800GT. also the 6800GT gives excellent AA though. but the radeon seems to choose the colors of the AA pixels better. but with Half-Life 2 4xAA both cards seeming to be on par on IQ.
I was often play planetside(got 5900xt and 9600xt) and now switched to play Everquest2. At first, I bought a 6800GT and yesteday I got a X800XTPE too.
To the planetside, actually I also noticed ATI AA is "a bit" better but not much, need to pay attention(I used a graphical model CRT and it's brand new, so maybe I can notice that).
During in the EQ2 gameplay, all stuttering from my 6800GT gone...lol... and the speed in really crowed environment is faster really very very very much but I have to admit that nvidia card clearly got better image quality in EQ2.
