Hi,

From windows I get a perfect fitting picture on my tv, but in linux I haven't found out yet how to get to this.
Is there a way I that I can find out from windows which settings to use in Linux?

I'm not sure if this even applies to TVs, but on a monitor, you can check what refresh rate Windows is using, then set VertRefresh to that (instead of whatever range it's set to now) in your XF86Config-4 file, in the Monitor section. But I have a feeling that the problem might be software, because AFAIK all TVs are the same refresh rate...

Wait a minute, is your TV type (NTSC vs. PAL) set properly?

It's set to Pal and I'm in Holland so that should be correct.

The exact problem is that the screen size is ok, but the image is too big and doesn't fit.
I'll check the refresh rate.
