Since we're talking mice, and we want to show off our battery life to the poor MS mice buyers...let's get into the gnitty gritty.

I can run my mouse for 2 and a half days _average_ with one full charge.

This includes the occasional gaming on weekends where I really put the mouse through paces (ie doom3/ut2k4 alot)

I have been known to get it to last as long as 5 days (weekdays usually, where I don't have time to game much, just kinda hanging out and doing some move and stop/browsing type stuff where the mouse has time to go into standby mode and use far less power).

I had a MX900, in the end its battery life was one day, some new batteries helped that, but in I knew I would have to replace those and they are damn heavy. So I switched to the MX1000, nice light Li-Ion battery and lasts about 1.5 weeks at the moment. Plus its like night and day when gaming compared to the MX900

The battery in my MX700 has only died on me once. About 2 days off the charger. I just charge it when I go to bed and thats good.

A side note, I have the original batteries in my keyboard from over 16 months ago.

Mine lasts at least 2 days. Ive never left it off longer so I don't know how long for sure. I usually just plop it in the charger at night.

i usually charge mine once a week or so.. maybe longer. i got some energizer 2400 mAh batteries to replace the ones it came with.

lol I have no idea how long mine last because I put it on the base every time I leave the house.
Haven't had to change the batteries since I got it in May though.

I had the MX Duo and on mouse, would get about 3 days on a full charge. But now I have the MX1000 here, and I swear when I first got it out of the box, I didn't need to recharge the sucker for over 3 weeks. LOL. :headbang:

before I recently replaced the batteries (got new 2400Mah ones) and was using the ones that came with it, I put it in the charger every night, as a routine..
towards the end it wouldnt last 2 days if I forgot, which it would when those batteries where new.
Now with the my new batteries I just wait til it starts flashing, which is a few days in between, not really kept track of it..
New high grade batteries made alot of difference in battery life tho.

My MX1000 battry lasts a hel of a long time and it is NEVER switched off unless the time comes to recarge even then it takes 2 hours to fully recharge and least 2 weeks at least with good use and never switched off.

Yep the MX-1000's battery life is much much more than the MX700 . i could not believe it until i experianced it
this leaves the spot for MX1000 for a top gaming experiance .
