I really have not been following this trial, but I just looked on the FOXNews.com, and I just found out he got the death penalty.

Honestly, I don't care if he's guilty or no, but IF he did do those horrible things to his family, then he deserves to die. Period.

If he gets the death penalty, I'll fletch snot through a glass straw out the rectum of a pregnant sloth with infected hemroids, wearing a scrotum squisher S&M leather gimp mask.

I am with you, I could care less.

This really struck me as hilarious. :)

And I dunno, maybe I'm the only one that thinks so, BUT THIS SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN A NATIONAL NEWS CASE! For Christ's sake...why the hell do I need to hear for a half hour every night what this douchebag in CA has going on in his life after he killed his wife and then died his hair this color and that color and left one fingernail longer than the other.

Jesus man, yes, it's terrible what happened to his wife, but there is absolutely NO reason for this to have been a national case, clogging up the airwaves night after night after night. What effect does it have on me? Hell, what effect is there on Milwaukee? What about New York or Florida or any****ingwhere else? The national news media is so Goddamned annoying. This is just another example of sensationalism and the national media having nothing to report. This was a local at most story...maybe an initial report about what happened followed with the death penalty sentencing, but really, is even THAT necessary for anyone outside of CA? How many other terrible crimes happen everyday that we never hear about and we had to hear about this OJ of the new millenium every ****ing day?

I'm too angry to even finish typing about this. People wonder why I never watch the news and this is the exact reason why: if I'm not being bombarded with story after story for hours on end about hurricanes, I'm hearing about a run-of-the-mill murder trial 2000 miles away that, just like the hurricanes, have absolutely no bearing on my life whatsoever. Call me a dick, call me an uncompassionate asshole, call me what you want, but Jesus, stop wasting my time.

My meaning is that I COULD care less BUT I don't want to take the time right now because I'm busy feltching snot. ;)

It is the same type of saying that John Wayne made famous when he said "not hardly" LOL!!!! I love irking the graMMAR nazis off. (xmassign2

Just think kiddies, we get the next big even. THE JACKSON CASE FOR THE NEXT 4 YEARS.

BTW this will not be over yet. They will ANALize this thing to death what ever the out come will be. I hate this whole trial and I just don't get why anyone cares.

Ya...I'm with you on this. There's murders that happens every day, and this one the media decides to glorify. I think that this is blown WAY out of proportion.

I think he got off easy with the death penalty. Now, he'll be segregated from the general population and kept in his own cell on Death Row. If he got life in the Califronia Penal System, he would be getting butt plugged and threatened day in, day out (they don't take too kindly to baby killers). He would live in fear every waking day of his life in prison if he were given a life sentence.

Personally, I'm of the mindset that if you murder someone, you should be killed the same way your killed your victims. Eye for an eye.

So in this case, a la Junior, Peterson is impregnated and then his cheating husband (thank God he's in CA, so he can marry a man) murders him and his unborn baby.

Lol, that can all be accomplished if he gets life in prison. He can get "impregnated" by 100 different "husbands" in San Quentin or Pelican Bay. So, both of our suggestions can merge in this case!

Yes...and they will become a super-sentence, destroying all within it's path!

I would sooner be sentenced to death than life in prison. Life in prison just seems like a slow death to me.

Yes, rotting in prison does have it's appeals, I guess. I suppose, in cases like these, I would only want it to happen if I was guaranteed this man's life would be Hell^2.

I'm also a big proponent of lethal injection...with 200cc's of air. :) That'll be a nice, painful death and it'll save money!

oh, but it's not over. OJ is still brought up all the time and that was almost 10 years ago...and he got off scott free! Peterson is sentenced to death, this is and will continue to be the story of the millenium, I'm sad to say.

I'm sick of hearing about this Scott Peterson thing. How many months have we heard this now? I turn on the news for maybe five minutes before I'm drowned by B.S. like this Scott Peterson thing. Murders such as these happen daily I'm sure, so why make this one a big national deal? The media is so desperate they'd report anything they could (except good things ofcourse).

Even the local news channels in my area - for example. My reenacting company (37 VA Co. E, Inf.) recently sponsored 10 underpriviledged children for Christmas to buy them Christmas gifts so they would have a better Christmas. We also gave them fruit baskets to take home. Before this event took place we informed the local media of when we were going to do it, and if they would like to do a story on it. Their response was something close to 'Well, could you take pictures and write the story yourselves and we'll run it when it arrives." Come on! It's not like they have anything better to do. I don't think the most recent list of people being arrested of drug crimes is of much interest anymore (considering how long drug busts have been going on here and atleast 80% of the population of my county use illegal drugs). Maybe it would be a good thing for the media to report something positive for once. These children received more gifts, each, than I ever did as a child, and ever will in all likelyhood. This is good for them as their parents couldn't afford to get them much at all. All of the parents that were there came up to us and said things like "Thanks to you this will be a good Christmas for our kids afterall." Will this ever make the news? Probably not. Why? They don't want to run much of anything positive.

I hope not. This has already been blown way out of proportion. I just hope the judge have the intestinal fortitude to go with the jury's decision to put this murderer to death.

The media does seem overwhelmingly negative doesn't it? Makes you wonder... Is it just because that gets more interest/better ratings? If so, how do we really know that to be fact?

Don't forget he got the death sentence in California. We'll all probably die of old age before he's actually executed.

Good point. Manson lucked out in that way as well if I remember correctly. He got death and then the fruitcakes over there decided he deserved to live instead. Weeeee...

Steeda has a good point there...He's dieing in California so by the time all the appeals go through and every single last try Peterson squeezes out to avoid death, all of us are probably going to have gray beards and by then, we'll be into the 10th generation of Pentium chips! :| What happened to the good old days where if a man stole goods from a shop, they'd cut his hands off right then and there??!! :D

Anyone ever watch "The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly"? Watch the scenes where they went to hang "The Ugly". ;)

I love the way they dispensed justice back then. :D
