Select the Display mode timing for your display based on one of the timing formats and standards below:

o Auto-detect (windows determines the proper mode.)
o General timing formula (GTF)
o Discrete monitor timing (DMT)
o Coordinated Video timing (CVT) Standard
o Fixed aspect ratio timing

[ ] Enable doublescan for lower resolution modes

thank you for your help

Leave it on auto detect and forget about it.

BTW, we do have a forum for NVIDIA legacy cards, where your question should have been asked.

If you right click on any of the buttons and select what's this, it will describe what the different settings are. Again, just let Windows and the drivers do their thing. Leaving it set to auto will have zero effect on anything you do. But if you pick a setting that's not supported by your monitor, then you'll run into problems. In this case, Windows does know what's best based on the particular monitor you have installed. It's a moot point because this does nothing.
