Yes the new 36Gb Raptors are coming with ECQ. I just added my fourth Raptor to my array of HDs and found out the last one I hooked up outta the 4 Does in facct Support ECQ just like there also new 74Gb sibbling. Unfortunatly I have to disable this because my other 3 36Gb Raptors do not Support this.

scsi has had tcq for years now... its a great feature for raids arrays... nice set up there ... hmmm i think im picking up a few of these for my new rig next year .... how much did you pay for it
I think your mixing it up with Native Command Queuing? or is it that same thing?

Cool, so it's the FLA1 variant that I want to look for if I go for 2 raptors in raid 0, thanks for the info as i'm considering this route.

Nice, id love to get a pair of 74gig ones with ncq!
Hard to say if it works or not, windows seemed to load faster yet when i benched it the result was very very low speeds yet the seek times was really low. Not sure what to make of it.

Ya he was because the raptors have always had TCQ.
But thats due to them really being SCSI devices.
