Would PureVideo help clean up image quality from my TV card?

thats a great question... when i bought my 6800 i thought that it would excelerate all mpeg 1/2 functions

That would be possible but only if you add some kind of live video buffer integrated into your tuner cards drivers that would direct all of the video through the nvidia codec.
