One... it's free. Two, it does nearly everything Norton does.

Well currently I use Alwil avast! antivirus which is also free. You think I should switch to AVG?

dunno. Does Alwil Avast work for you? Do you need to change Virus software? personally i've never used AVG, but i know plenty of people who have.

Well yeah, it does its job. The only thing I hate about it is that it isn't detected by Zona Alarm as being an antivirus program.

Yesterday Norton finally wanted me to "resubcribe" the AV2004 I've been running....I thought it was time for a free and less expensive change.
AVR 7.0free installed and setup np...its a hell of lot less blotted than NortonAV, ease of updating, a clean interface...and seems to be working great.
Now all it has to do is kep me from getting infected.... (xmastong)
