Whenever I play halo, I get these lines. they are mostly seen in blood gulch, on top of the base, but they are everywhere else also. What can I do?

it doesn't look that bad, but it is extremely distracting.

Disable the Anisotropic/Trilinear Filtering Optimizations from the CP to get rid of them .

Adpr 02 why don't you just get into CS Source or HL2 Deathmatch?? (snow=D)

I am not a CS fan. I love HL2, but not CS. I like halo because I win most of the time, and that is where I have skillz. why disable AF? I had it enabled until now, and it worked fine, it looks like crap without AF. oh, well. I will give it a try. (santa2)

well, by golly. I enabled AF x 8, and the problem fixed itself. now I am lagging in big firefights... Oh well, I can only wait until UPS delivers my athlon processor, and then I'll have fun. (cheers)

what do you guys think of this.

Athlon 3200+ (which will be overclocked like crazy, of course)
zalman cooler,
1gb Kingston ddr3200 2-2-2-5-1 (to be overclocked)
my 6600gt to be overclocked (600/1200 hopefully),
fairly good mobo,
SATA hard drives in RAID (0 or 1, don't know yet)
380W PSU.
I Plan to cool the case verry well so I can OC.

Oh, I can't wait for it. my pc will rock. (mikec)
