I was wondering if anyone knows anything about the MSI 6800GT because I cant find any info on it. I know MSI makes great products, but I cant find a review for it or nothing. So if anyone owns one or knows anything about them, I would appreciate some input.

If this MSI 6800GT is with MSI's own copper cooling , then i'd surely recommend it .
it runs stable @400/1100 & comes with fan controller .
nice bundle , but the games are not new .
(its box picture shown in the link in my sig btw (rudolf) ) .

If your going to leave stock cooling on it the MSi gt with copper is best. If your going to put an nv silencer or water cooling on it then the bfg gt or asus gt 256mb are best.

No I dont plan on replacing the stock cooling.

Can anyone tell me about their experience with this card? Maybe some framerates in games like HL2 and DOOM3?

With a P4:3GHz & 1GB DDR400 of RAM i can play HL2 @1600x1200,4xAA,8xAF , Doom3@1600x1200,2xAA,8xAF & FarCry @1280x1024,4xAA,8xAF smoothly .

This card is great! It looks great, fits perfect, its virtually silent, installation was a breeze, and my games look AWSOME! 10x better than the 9800pro I had in here. My 3Dmark05 score went up 2000pts at stock settings. Im still tweaking it and the results keep getting better and better!

Excellent Card :jumping:

Now you should overclock it and tell us how far you got.
Also report temps before and after overclocking.
Congratulations.........nice card, I was torn between it and the gigabyte, but I went with the gigabyte.

I havent done any overclocking yet as i have no need. This card plows through anything i throw at it. And yes, this has the copper heat sink. The card weighs like 6lbs. More than all three of my old cards together. If i do overclock, I will let you know Sal.
