I'm hearing about this on the FX series PCIe cards with HSI, and seem to be experiencing the same thing with a 6600GT AGP...

Anyone know something about this? Links? Anything?

I'll have more details on my endeavours in the next couple days.

High Speed Interconnect. It's the chip they bung on to convert from AGP to PCIe or from PCIe to AGP. So... erm.. the 6600AGP is a PCIe 6600 + HSI.

Interesting it would affect OCing on boards with agp locks. Maybe it's because nVidia OCs the AGP bridge on the card to 12x or so I hear.
