crazy flashing in hl2 with vsync on?

using 67.03 official drivers, and screen goes crazy/flashing when vsync gets put on from within game. anyone else get this with half-life 2?

vsync on doesn't go crazy in WoW

It is a bug in the drivers. Make sure vsync is set ON in both control panel and in game.

with vsync on -period- i get the crazy shearing/corruption/flashing

Works fine here with the 71.20 drivers but I dont think I had probs with the 67.03 either. Give the 71.20 a try and make sure to run something like driver cleaner when changing drivers
