Can the 2D Voltage be set to 1.4v when flashing the bios???
Current Default shows that it's set at 1.1v Any suggestions???
Because I want to run 3D & 2D both on 1.4V with no overclocking.

I believe it can. But I ask why you would want to do this? it would increase your tempatures in desktop as well.

Oh, okay.....I was just checking to see if I could.

I think I'll reflash the bios again. What's the best bios out there to
flash to? I have the PNY 6800 Ultra. I don't want to overclock anything
but, at the same time I want system stability. Just let me now which
bios you would perfer I use.....just as long as it's not a PNY Bios!!!

Yes you can rund the 2D voltage at 1.4V, but it's completely pointless. 3D is what affects games and benchmarks, not 2D. All it would do is increase your temps.

Instead, just up the 3D voltage to 1.4 and only overclock 3D performance, not 2D.

Okay, last thing.......what's a good bios you think I should download now?
I've already flashed the bios with 2D Voltage at 1.4 so now I'm going to have
to reflash again and lower the voltage back to the default for the 2D.
Which bios would be good for me? Asus, MSI, eVGA, BFG or Gainward?

If you can find a PNY one, use that. You should have backed up your original BIOS in the first place. If not, eVGA or BFG would probably be the closest match.

Your right, I flashed my card back to the following.
PNY Ge-Force 6800 Ultra BIOS
(Version Rev 01) :
This bios was submitted on November 18th, 2004 on mvktech.net and it
Seem to be very stable for me with no random reboots or lockups.
Infact I've even overclocked the card with the following 425/1.10
(Version Rev 01) out performs (Version Rev 02)
I sure would like to get an updated bios version when PNY releases it's next major update for all of us PNY 6800 Ultra owners.

My 6800GT temp. is @ 94C in load. The problem is in bios screen, i can hear the fan noise but in windows or in 3D mode.........fan speed doesn't increase. Maybe thats why my card heated this much. If i change 2D voltage same as 3D, i mean 1.4V......will the fan run at full speed??
