Hi, I will be getting my geforce 6800 on thurs or wed from newegg, but I was wondering if I should uninstall the drivers I have right now (I have a geforce 4 64mb), install the 6800 and re-install drivers. I'm asking this because I have the coolbits and rivatuner registry installed.
thanks in advance for replies.
I dont think that will cause a trouble , BUT its always better to uninstall them for your new video card .

Always, always, always uninstall old video drivers before changing hardware. Re-enabling Coobits is easy as double-clicking a registry file and RivaTuner will not be affected by the change. Just make sure you don't have it running at Windows startup after you've uninstalled your drivers.
