12ms response time..hmm that probably means rise is 12ms and fall is also 12 ms so...probably 25ms rise and fall which is almosy 40 frame per second and still probably get a little ghosting...like mine.

I've had the FP937s for a few months now and am very impressed it's an excellent LCD, and yes it has a true 12ms response time with no dead pixels so far..
No ghosting in games at all, highly recommmended.

Make sure you install the supplied driver and use the DVI connection.

I think BenQ monitors are the most underrated of them all. I have a 20.1 from them and it rep[laced a 21" hitachi CRT. I play action/shooters almost exclusively and have experienced no ghosting whatsoever, even outside of the native resolution. I am forced to play a lot of games at lowered resolution because my good old 9800 will not play HL2 or Chronicles at 1600*1200. My response is only 25ms, but that was tops for a 20.1 at the time. The 17"s were just starting to show some 16ms models. I like the 3 year warranty(replacement!) and the fact that I still have nary a stuck or dead pixel, and there are a lot of those on a 20.1 as those that have one can attest.

Good 24bit LCD do 16.7 Mill , so anything lower then that is crap , they dither rest of colors , my dads Hitachy 16ms LCD does 16.2 looks bad in games compared to CRT or good 24bit LCD. Did you read any reviews before buying ?

Toms Hardware just did a review on this (and several other 19" LCDs). The Benq got lukewarm results; good in some areas, not so good in others. And according to the reviewer, the 12ms claim is overstated.

Read all about it here:

yeah, its a good monitor for the price, but I think the 12ms is bs. I see some ghosting in cs:source
