HI all,
I just recieved my Gigabyte heat pipe edition 6800GT (xmasgrin)

Ok I'm using Nvidia 66.9x drivers, the card is not overclocked.

I got 4511 in 3D mark 2005 !!! Is this low or what ?
P.S. the Idle temps of the card is 54, and after 3 runs of 3D Mark 2005 the temps only went to 59 !!!

The score is ok for the CPU you use i think. 3Dmark wont heat your card up so badly.
Try running rthdribl benchmark in fullscreen for 30 minutes.
You get it here:

its very good for 68GT runnin at stock speed, and the temps are perfect.
btw congo on ur cards heatpipe soln..it is workin correctly, many people seem to have problem with it, with temps goin to 100*C and higher.

I just realized that I need to upgrade MY RAM and CPU, After playing Americas Army the FPS in SF_Hospital takes a dive to the 30's, this is faster than my ATI card but still low.

OK I've finished running rthdribl for 30 min. on my Gigabyte Card, I got freaked a little as Temps went up to 78 !!
Not tell me please if this is normal, Any way NV5 is on the way and should arrive next week with some AS5.

78 is well within acceptable bounds.

Then the heat pipe is doing the job so clean and cool. (xmasgrin)
I wonder how the NV5 will cool.
