As a newspaper reporter, I have to deal with many different kinds of stories: kidnapping, building and zoning, etc. But in my 4 months on the job, I have yet to find a story as amusing as this. I won't bother to type out my copy, but here's a synopsis from our ABC Chicago affiliate:

The Bartlett police are taking it all in good fun. The really funny thing is, the BBC in London called this police station and did an interview with a commander for their American special interest radio program.
