hey, what do you guys suggest as the best video card that can be bought for approx $150? would prefer agp reccomendations, but if the performance is really going to be _that_ much better with peg i'll look into the price of that.

just curious, thanks a lot in advance for any suggestions you can provide.

9700 PRO or 9800 PRO 256-bit 128MB AGP8X. Both of these cards deliver solid performance and should be found around that price if you hunt around.

Id say the 9800 Pro is the only 2 Quad 256bit memory card that your gonna get for that price.

Where'd you get that info? I havent heard anything about AGP 6600 vanillas.

Probably better spend an extra $50 and get a based on latest technology GT6600 or LE6800
