I just upgraded my Asus5900Ultra with their 6800GT. I problem is that I play Delta Force BHD and TS everyday and this card fails the auto-test at resolutions above 1024x768. My 5900 runs the same game (online) at 1600x1200. Everything on my computer is up to date (BIOS, drivers ect...) I have tried every driver that will run on this thing. I ran 3Dmark 05 @5600+ and 03 @12000+, so the card is working. It just won't run my fav game (you can't play online at 1024 with a 22" monitor, you can see the scan lines :bs: )

Has anyone seen or heard of this? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance (salute)

Oh, if it helps here are the main parts of the system:
Abit IC7 Max3
P4C 2.6@3.1 (got a 3.2c, but I have to fix this 1st)
1 Ghz OCZ 500DDR
Asus V9999GT 256DDR3
XP pro SP2
NEC FP2141sb

Try not to use any ASUS drivers or software, it's bad for the card. Speaking from my own experience. Great card otherwise.

I got it! I just thought I'd post the fix incase anyone else has the same problem.
All you have to do is edit the "dfv.cfg" file in your game directory. Simply change the "0" to a "1" on the line that says "hw3d_res1600x1200" and all the others resolutions under it. (or whatever max resolution you want) I used note pad to open and edit it, piece of cake!. It seems that a lot of 6800 chips fail the the auto test on BlackHawk Down. :jumping:
