well I got 2 setups here...an 5900xt pny grafix card with a tweaked bios from a leadtek, the usual thing just so we can overclock it to 950/495,running thru` an Athlon mobile processor clocked @ 2.5 gigs......mobo is the famous abit nf7-s rev 2.0 ..just thought I`d post a few benchies using different drivers...must admit I usually only bench using 2 games h/l 2 and Call of duty...can`t be assed with the usual fag assed old"mad onion" benchy...3d mark bla bla....coz there all fixed as we know......game play and looks and frame rate is all that bothers me...........I take a position on a dam in the water ways screen @ 1280x1084 all settings at max 4..4 ano/ani...always the same place and use fraps...here we go
6702 v/studios extreme....37fps
6702b3 overdrive.....35 fps
6177.....................38 fps
71.20...................37 fps
71.24....................41 fps
Call of Duty in the trench big guns a blazin`
all @ 1280x1284 flatpanel screen here @ 75hz
all settings @maximum..in game in n/vidia panel 4/ 4 ano/ anti..quality settings ect same for each driver
same position aiming @ opposing machine gun post same place
6702 v/studio extreme 55fps
6702b3 overdrive.......59fps
6177 n/vidia..............68fps
71.20 n/vidia.............57pfs
71.24n/vidia..............58fps

Some weird and wonderfull results there but thats straight off my 1 rig/ the iq looks the same to me using all the drivers...fooked if I can see the difference..probably wrong..the water in h/l 2 is ok...UI`ll do a comparison with the 6800 ultra sometime

Just thought I`d share with yas here...maybe some interest to fellow 5900xt users.

Thanks for running that comparison. It looks like the 61.77 is still the best for the fx series. I'll have to compare them to the 53.03 and 56.73 drivers

Quick note about the 53.03 set. It is the last set to correctly render the snowflakes in Ghost Recon correctly. Some of the newer drivers render the snowflakes correctly, but only without nightvision. With nightvision, they are still big cotton balls. I have always been a fan of the 53.03's. Just FYI.
