i just want to check with y'all, whats the top resolution my card supports (i assume most if not all 6800s are the same)? according to the asus website its 2048x1536, and i believe it...however sisoft sandra says 1280x1024. i'm 99.9% sure asus must be right, but being that i'm just about to buy a 20" tft with a 1600x1200 native resolution someone reassure me!

mmm, paranoia o_O

yep, you can go up to 2048x1536

i can go to 16x12 no problem, sis sandra is wrong

thankyou, what i wanted to hear!

while i'm pending a refund on the last tft (1280x1024 19"er) i'm using a goldfish bowl CRT with a max. res. of 1280x1024...was beginning to buy into sandra's speil as i'd have thought this CRT should do 1600x1200.

Use my GT for 1600x1200 gaming. She can do more but the monitor can't.

i'm gonna be yet another person with a dell 2001fp, at 20", 16ms response and at current dell pricing they seem the best deal. wide viewing angles and good colour representation with a 24bit screen (no dithering) to boot ;)

all that and portrait mode is ideal for word processing.
