The folks over at CrazyPC (http://www.crazypc.com) have hooked us up with the Saitek PC Gaming Keyboard (http://www.crazypc.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=4182) and the Razer Diamondback High Precision Gaming Mouse (http://www.crazypc.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=4272G) for review. I like to hear our readers' feedback/suggestions before I begin some reviews. So, what would you like to know about these products? I'll consider whatever you have to offer and will try to incorporate it into the reviews. Thanks!

Ergonomics and build quality; it would be nice if you could pull up the MX1000 white sheets for comparison against the Razer. The keyboard has always looked really cheap from what I've seen...

I really like the saitek keyboard and haven't even bothered to play around with the extra keypad yet. The softer touch doesn't bother me at all and I am so happy there is no F-Lock key. :)

Got one question before you start - where's mine? :p

I have an MX1000 so I will offer some comparisons bewteen it and the Razer. Sure thing, I'll investigate the build quality.

@Sat: Didn't you get one for Christmas? :D

could you also perhaps (if you have the systems available) show difference between usb 1.1 v/s 2.0 performance?

other than that I think everyone has everything else covered :D

oh and noise/feel/clackety clackiness... including mouse click/mouse wheel/wheel clicks :D

I got two things that were much more exciting - a year's worth of homeowner's insurance and my annual vehicle registration. Le-dee-frickin'-da.

I got the PC Gamer's Keyboard for Christmas and I frickin' love it. It's fantastic. I haven't used/programmed the Command Pad yet, but even still...this is the smoothest, nicest keyboard I've ever had the pleasure of using and the backlight it awesome.

@Saz: Sure, actually my main rig has USB 2.0 and 1.1 exclusive ports so I could test performance between the two. What did you have in mind exactly? I'll also be sure to talk about clickity/clackiness (or the lack thereof). :)

nah, I was just wondering coz my d'top and new laptop have usb 2.0 ... but the old one does not... and my brother-in-law has mainly 1.1's...

if there is no discernible difference in performance, that would be ace....

Ok, gotcha. I'll check it out on both and report if there are any noticeable differences.

I'd like to know what features the Saitek keyboard has that other keyboards dont have .
also what custom colors it comes with & the price of course !

Will do. I think that it only comes in the one color (for now anyway). The price is ~$50 (http://www.crazypc.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=4182)

It's got the command pad attachment that has 27 (via shift buttons) buttons and each can be programmed to do pretty much anything in-game or out of games.

And you can have mulitple profiles as well.

Max, you have to promise me one thing, that you WILL NOT talk about how much it weighs. If I hear another person complain about mouse weight I will blow up a house full or orphans.

MUYA's little brother has a old POS ball mouse and he kicks ass at gaming, yet we have turd balls complaining about how much cordless mice weigh. Get more skill and less gadgets.

I know you know what I mean.

All I am interest in how it feels to you and the NOTICABLE accuracy. I understand you have to put the tech specs up but the important thing is that you like how accurate it is.

I'll put the weight I got out of my wife's 510 in the mail for you Yonkers. Then you can brag about how you're lifting double now once you tape it inside your mouse. :D
