Anyone interested in a Space Sim game combined with FPS ?? its Parkan II . set to be released in Jan 2005 .

Parkan II is a 3D space simulator combined with first person action planet side. In the game players will get an opportunity to explore a vast universe, visit different planets, their satellites, huge space stations and immense space destroyers. Be it in the ****pit of the spaceship, inside a tank or just with a laser rifle in hand, gamers will have to fight against multiple enemies in outer space, on planets' surface and inside military bases. Open ended game play provides players the ability to choose their own destiny, to become a merchant or a colonizer, a mercenary or a pirate

I wonder if this will be what I wanted Freelancer to be. The one thing I thought was missing from that game was to have first person exploration\fighting at destinations. Rather than just flying around, landing, then going to a cheesey 3rd-person-adventure looking scene (which works for adventure games, but this game needed more substance...) that didnt allow you to do anything interesting.

I hope they can pull it off. This could be really cool :)
