Stumbled across this today.

Dropload is a place for you to drop your files off and have them picked up by someone else at a later time. Recipients you specify are sent an email with instructions on how to download the file. Files are removed from the system after 7 days, regardless if they have been picked up or not. You can upload any type of file, mp3, movies, docs, pdfs, up to 100MB each! Recipients can be anyone with an email address

I'd suggest not using this for any confidential information of course, but for the quick and dirty stuff it could come in handy.

nice find there Clay :thumbsup: .. i should store the URL for later needs . that would come in handy when i need to get files/movies from my friends with faster connections since i'm on dial-up & its hard for me to get them at once .

I think I used the wrong expression ("quick and dirty") :D Just saying that for times when you don't have an FTP client or FTP access/no USB key/etc that this would be an option in some cases. :)

I find it ironic that it's called "dropload" when it's applicability is likely for porn..to..drop off your "load"

Remember that you are using our server to drop files off for your friends, so we ask that you store things we wouldn't mind storing for you. Things we would not appreciate: child porn or copyrighted materials that you aren't permitted to share in this manner.

File limits are 100 megs. And we will, at our discretion, regulate usage. Use dropload when you need it and it will always be here for you. Abuse it and you'll ruin it for everyone else.

So basically, as long as it is not child pRon, everything else will be okay :) LOL
It seems to me it's just a temporary pRon data storage place for those on the road ;) LOL They should have renamed it to "DropLoad Then UnLoad".com :angel:
