Starship Troopers FPS

I hope this is new to most people here.

I never knew there was a starship troopers first person shooter being developed and i just had to post it here as soon as i found it.

I remeber its announcement but news on it been rare for awhile now. I remember the big thing about it was the increased physics in the bugs to make it alot like the movie during combat.

EDIT: Just wateched the video... graphics quality its on par with D3, gameplay looks nice but I hope theres more then just guarding the forts all the time.

looks like it has good co-op potential. saw some guys getting killed with one hit on the video. hope that doesn't happen to real players in the game. hoping for a fun, fast paced FPS.

This game is vaporware imo. I've been reading about this game since 2002 and since then, little has really been revealed. I forgot all about it till I saw this thread =) Don't hold your breath though guys, I seriously don't think this will ever see the light of day. But that's my personal take-I didn't read that anywhere.

OT - I did miss the graffiti from the first game wrt hl2, where you saw "die freeman die" and related items all over teh place :)

on topic - I think its bout time S.T. had a game come out... I thought it was an under-rated flick tbh... I enjoyed a fair bit of the movie...

a classic it wasn't but it sure had some good bits...

I love starship troopers... i actually thought it was a comedy until i bought it. I then noticed the label "Action/Thriller"... Oh well, a classic in my books anyway.

I just got done playing that 'Antlion Troopers" map. I thought it was pretty cool but the performance sucked. The readme says to turn down/off AA. At first I didnt and I got like 3fps! :thumbdwn: Oh and there is some annoying texture bugs with the map also.
