Well my motherboard and #1 hd are died and now I have to build a new rig. I dont really know to much about amds but i know that they are better for gaming which is all I do. I wonder if you guys could suggest a mobo, cpu, and ram for my BFG 6800 gt(which is really all i will be keeping from my old rig). Also what kind of power supply will i need for an overclock 6800 and an oced processor?

maybe to make it easier, lets use how much money you are willing to spend.. we dont need to know how much you can spend. money is just as important to consider as gameplay power, cause even $100 can change the whole scope of things when buying a whole new pc

AMD Athlon64 S939 3200+, Asus A8V, generic 1 gb PC3200 ram for around $530 is what I paid for last year.
Considering the fact you have a 6800 class video card, you better get a brand name 450 W power supply. I forgot what watt rating nVidia recommends for their GeForce 6800 non-ultras.

Excellent choice in CPU, though in all honesty, I'd rather go with the MSI K8N Neo2 Platinum for about 20 bux more and stick with the nForce 3 Chipset...
I think this fan would be optimal cooling for the type of system you are building, especiallly if you plan to OC
And any Enermax 350w. or better I think would be okay for that type of setup, unless you'll be running multiple HD's or something of the sort
